2Advanced v5.0 Attractor

The newest version of 2Advanced is now online. For those of you who are not familiar with 2Advanced, where have you been for the past 5 years or so. 2Advanced is the creation of Eric Jordan, Eric's first version of 2Advanced breathed new life into the flash community and set the bar for design and interactivity. Each subseqent version brought new innovations in programming and design.

I continually find myself returning to 2Advanced. The company portfolio has continued to grow, showcasing a wide range of design and interactivity. I was very surprised, and pleased, to find that the new site also has an 'official blog'. I'm especially looking forward to the day the tutorial section of the blog goes live. As far as I know the only tutorial I have ever seen by Eric Jordan as in the first Masters of Flash book. I can't wait to see what 2Advanced has to teach us.

NC House Update

Well, as you can see, the house in North Carolina is well under way. Actually, this picture is now a couple of weeks old. The last report we got is all the walls, windows, roofing, shingles, etc. are up. The crew should have the interior drywall up by now and the exterior panels are lying in the garage.

Of course, the fact that the house is just about done is no comfort to Wendy, who is wondering how we're going to manage considering our house in Florida still hasn't sold. All the experts said that the market would pick up once the summer came around. Kids are out of school and people will need to move before the new school year begins. Oh, sure, there have been a few more people coming to look at the house in the past few weeks. But I think that is due more to the fact that we dropped the price down to $299,999 rather than any other reason. And we still have people ask us if the price is negotiable.

Now the buzz is that, if we don't have any major hurricanes between now and October, the market should pick back up. Well, that's just fine and dandy for everyone else, but I need a buyer NOW!

So, if you need to rent a house in Sunrise, Florida, please let me know.
